SEPTA Coronavirus (COVID-19) Service Update



At an afternoon press conference, SEPTA General Manager Leslie Richards updated customers and the public on SEPTA service adjustments, and the exceptional efforts of SEPTA operators and vehicle and station maintainers to keep the system running and clean.

Following Governor Wolf's announcement earlier in the day concerning the situation with COVID-19 in Pennsylvania, SEPTA will operate the Severe Weather Plan for Regional Rail beginning Tuesday, March 17, 2020 until further notice.  Transit will operate regular weekday service.  (Additional details below)


SEPTA today also announced a refund program for weekly and monthly passholders.  Partially used Monthly March 2020 Passes and Weekly Passes for the Weeks of March 9th & March 16th will be eligible for pro-rated refunds.  (Additional details below)
