A Chester County Economic Development Council Initiative

Health Care Connect’s Transportation Project

Health Care Connect (HCC) is an initiative of the Chester County Economic Development Council (CCEDC) in collaboration with employers from public and private health care sectors.

HCC is a dynamic and committed partnership dedicated to the success of our members. Collaboratively, we embrace the innovative technologies that are transforming our services and providing benefits for providers and consumers in this ever-evolving industry sector.

CCEDC is a private, non-governmental entity that promotes a competitive edge for existing and new businesses by providing proven financial solutions, cultivating workforce talent, leveraging business partnerships, and fostering entrepreneurial collaboration. CCEDC services improve the business community and enhance the quality of life in Chester County and the region.

The gravity of the transit situation cannot be underestimated in terms of high demand for healthcare workers and the limitations between where so many reside and where employer sites are located.  It is also important to note that healthcare frontline workers must travel to work; they cannot do their jobs remotely.

HCC’s mission is to promote the healthcare industry through training, outreach, collaboration, and best practices.
