Commuter Cycling
"Make Your Commute Bearable"
At FIT, we believe in connected, cohesive communities that encourage healthy, happy lifestyles. Through partnerships, advocacy and education, we believe in creating communities with inclusive transportation infrastructure, better mobility options and environmentally conscious commuters.
FIT's "Make Your Commute Bearable" Commuter Cycling Program is the Foundation's newest program. The program encourages more people to commute by bike through educational breakfasts, commuter bike rides, fun challenges and more. The goal of this program is to motivate commuters to bike to work, educate cyclists on the benefits of commuting by bike and to make bicycle commuting achievable, accessible and safe through public and private partnerships.
