Malvern, PA – The Transportation Management Association of Chester County (TMACC) announced that Univest Bank and Trust Co., which has offices in Chester County, became a new TMACC member today.
Univest said joining TMACC was another unique way for them to give back to their community through investing in transportation. “We are excited about our new partnership with TMACC and the opportunity to connect with municipalities and other local businesses to improve air quality through transportation demand management,” said Philip C. Jackson, president of Corporate Banking at Univest Bank and Trust Co. “We believe in the TMA model and the mission it has to provide a better quality of life for the communities in which we live, work and play. We are proud to expand our support to TMACC in addition to other memberships we have with GVFTMA, Partnership TMA and Bucks County TMA.”
Since expanding its footprint to Chester County in 2004, Univest has grown its involvement in business associations and support of local nonprofits. This is synonymous with its history and culture that dates back to 1876 when the company started as a community bank in Souderton, Montgomery County where its headquarters are still located today.
Univest provides a full array of financial solutions to individuals, businesses and nonprofit organizations through more than 50 offices in Bucks, Chester, Montgomery and Philadelphia counties and the Lehigh Valley. In 2014, through its Committed to Local philanthropic program, Univest gave back more than $1.2 million and its employees volunteered more than 15,500 hours.
