Malvern, PA – The Transportation Management Association of Chester County (TMACC) announced the appointment of new directors to vacant positions: Pamela Conti, Assistant Vice President at Parsons Brinckerhoff; Kerry S. Jones, Director for the Office of Capital Planning and Construction at Immaculata University; and John Nagel, Township Manager of East Whiteland.
TMACC’s Board of Directors is comprised of individuals representing businesses, universities, municipalities, engineering firms, and transportation and governmental agencies, which offer the best guidance to fulfill the TMACC mission to “activate, foster, and facilitate cooperation between the public and private sectors…that reduce congestion and improve air quality.”
Chris Williams, TMACC’s Board Chairman and Vice President of McMahon Associates Inc. said these three new board members will help TMACC to continue to flourish: “We’re constantly growing the organization to make sure it continues to solve Chester County’s transportation issues. We are fortunate to add the talents of these three individuals in the areas of transportation engineering, municipal management, and facilities management to help advance TMACC’s mission. We are eager to partner with them.”
Pam Conti has over 25 years of experience in the transportation engineering industry. As Assistant Vice President and Philadelphia Office Lead for Parsons Brinckerhoff, Conti oversees concept development, preliminary and final design, environmental clearances, traffic signal design, and corridor analyses for projects like I-95 and SEPTA station improvements. In addition to her work at Parsons Brinckerhoff, she is an active member of the Keystone Transportation Funding Coalition, WTS International, and a participant of the American Society of Highway Engineers.
John Nagel is the Township Manager of East Whiteland Township, and he has over 26 years of local government experience. Nagel is the Chief Administrative Officer of the Township, responsible to implement the policies of the Board of Supervisors, and oversee five operating departments. East Whiteland has a resident population of 10,650, and a daytime population of over 23,000. The Township is home to several significant regional transportation corridors and the Great Valley Corporate Center, which is home to many major national and international employers.
Kerry S. Jones is the Director for the Office of Capital Planning and Construction at Immaculata University with over 25 years of experience. Jones initiates, plans and executes major capital improvement projects on Immaculata’s campus such as their Open Door Athletic Training Facility, the Food Science Laboratory, and Gabriele Library Commons.
“These opportunities are to fill and complete vacated positions. We are excited to have these new additions to our Board,” said Executive Director, P. Timothy Phelps. “With such a varied group of professionals, we are able to live into our mission and continue to improve Chester County’s transportation.”
Currently, TMACC has over 130 member organizations who strive to improve transportation options and reduce transportation issues, such as traffic congestion and connectivity, in Chester County and the Greater Philadelphia area.
