P. Timothy Phelps
P. Timothy Phelps is the Executive Director of Transportation Management Association of Chester County. Since joining TMACC in 2012, Tim has been defining its mission, expanding its vision and growing the organization. He comes to TMACC with over 10 years of experience with Chambers of Commerce, including Great West Chester Chamber of Commerce, Main Line Chamber of Commerce, and the TriCounty Chamber of Commerce where he focused on the advocacy for business and transportation issues, and membership development. Tim is active in a variety of chamber, non-profit, and transportation committees such as the Chester County Economic Development Council and the Early Learning Investment Commission for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. He is a graduate of Juniata College and the William Penn Charter School. Tim currently resides in Malvern with his with wife, Melinda, and daughter, Anna Rae.
Manager of Transportation Operations and Planning
John Meisel is the Manager of Transportation Operations and Planning at TMACC. John manages both the Coatesville LINK and SCCOOT bus services, as well as TMACC’s “Ride for Health” Program. As TMACC’s planner, he oversees TMACC’s involvement with a number of regional transportation projects. With a background in urban planning and design, John worked for a number of planning firms before joining TMACC, including the Brandywine Conservancy and Wallace Roberts & Todd, LLC. John also has a background in teaching at both the upper school and university levels, including the Westtown School and the University of Pennsylvania. John lives in Malvern with his wife and three children.
Manager of Public Engagement
Amanda Lozinak is the Manager of Public Engagement for TMACC. Her goal is to make sure you know everything TMACC is doing in the community. Amanda is responsible for TMACC’s publications, social media, website, and photography. She is a graduate of Eastern University, where she received a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing and Management. Amanda also volunteers for Chester County’s Bicycle Coalition, Bike Chester County. When she is not working, you can normally find her running or biking on the Chester Valley or Schuylkill River Trail.
Manager of Corporate and Community Relations
Jonathan Ewald is the Manager of Corporate and Community Relations. Jon makes sure TMACC is implementing transportation practices and projects that align with the beliefs of the community. He is responsible for representing TMACC at community events and meetings to assure your voice is heard to the planners and engineers that hold the future of Chester County’s infrastructure. Jon attended Gettysburg College where he received a BA in Political Science. He serves on Borough Council and Chairs the Phoenixville Regional Planning Commission. Jon is also a volunteer firefighter with Phoenixville Fire Company. Jon lives in Phoenixville with his wife, Emily.
Manager of Finance and Administration
Lorie Pye is the Manager of Finance and Administration. From preparing budgets and reports to working with contractors, vendors and member services, Lorie is involved with all aspects of TMACC’s financial picture. Lorie moved to Southern Chester County about 10 years ago and has been enchanted with the area ever since. She comes to TMACC with years of experience in grant administration and finance for the City of Columbus, and more recently doing accounting and payroll for a local mushroom farm. Pye has a Master’s Degree in Public Policy and Management from Ohio State University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Hobart and William Smith Colleges.
Betty Shaw is Executive Administrator at TMACC. Betty has been supporting TMACC for the past eight years, making her TMACC’s longest standing employee! Not only is she Tim Phelps’s right hand, she also is an expert at event planning, membership coordination, and communication. Unfortunately, you will have to meet her in person to see what she looks like.
Customer Service Representative
Diane Minka is TMACC’s Customer Service Representative with over 15 years of experience. She has been responsible for the customer service of the two public transportation services under CHESCOBUS, Coatesville LINK and SCCOT, for the past five years. Diane helps manage TMACC’s Ride for Health Initiative in both Southern Chester County and Phoenixville. Diane is a long-time resident of Chester County, in the West Chester area, where she enjoys reading and walking around town.
